The finial formed as a British Royal Coronet attributed as: 'for a Prince or Princess, son or daughter of a Sovereign or Heir Apparent', above an applied initial 'CS'
The initial is for Princess Helena of Great Britain, fifth child of Queen Victoria. The 'CS' being for her married name; Princess Helena wed Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein in 1866.
