The cup and cover: 20 1/2 inches (52cm) tall
The Charger: 17 3/4 inches. 45cm diameter

The charger engraved with the Royal Arms and engraved inscription " Presented by His Britannic Majesty's Government To Rear Admiral Charles Henry Davis in Recognition of his Services on the International Commission of Enquiry at Paris January 1905"

Rear Admiral Charles H Davis Jr. USN, was commended in parliament and praised by president Roosevelt for his part in 1904-05 when he was the American representative on the international commission of inquiry on the north sea incident which sat in paris.
