A Victorian Silver Presentation Clock, R & S Garrard London 1856
18 ¾ inches (47.5cm) tall
The presentation inscription reads:’Presented to Thomas Thompson Esq M.D. by the governors of the Stratford upon avon infirmary and by his many private friends in testimony of their personal esteem and as a mark of their sense of his gratuitous services to the infirmary during 25 years’
The scene; a Tableau from Shakespeare’s As you like it, depicting Orlando saving his brother, Oliver, from the Lioness.
